Ocean City, MD Suite Hotels with Separate Bedrooms

This site was inspired by our family’s ongoing struggle to find true hotel suites—only to end up in standard rooms with a sofa bed. We needed a separate bedroom, and chances are, you do too. To help you plan your trip to Ocean City, MD, we’ve personally researched all of the hotels listed below to confirm they offer at least one fully private bedroom separated from the living area. Keep in mind: some resorts offer both studio-style rooms and 1- to 3-bedroom suites, so double-check that you’re booking a 1+ bedroom suite, not just a studio. Happy travels!
Holiday Inn & Suites Ocean City 17th Street Boardwalk
This all suite resort hotel is located on Ocean City’s Boardwalk on 17th Street. All rooms have one private bedroom and full kitchens. Complimentary on-site laundry facilities are available on most floors. Other amenities include two outside pools, one with a slide and kids splash area, and one indoor pool. Fenwick Inn, North Ocean City 138th Street
Although this is a more traditional style hotel with mostly studio rooms, the Fenwick Inn does offer a 1-bedroom suite with two bathrooms and a kitchenette. Located in North Ocean City, amenities include a heated indoor pool, hot tub, and splash pad. They have a rooftop restaurant and bar on-site and provide a free continental breakfast. Princess Royale Oceanfront 91st Street
Resort style hotel with a mix of studio suites and 1-3 bedroom suites. All accommodations include a kitchenette with a stove, refrigerator, and microwave. There are three dining options on site: (1) a cafe that serves coffee, tea, and baked goods/pastries, (2) Schooner’s which serves breakfast (not free), (3) an oceanfront bar and grille serving lunch and dinner, and (4) an indoor tiki bar located in the atrium. Other amenities include an indoor atrium pool, arcade, gift shop, fitness room, grocery service, and an on-site spa. They do not have an outdoor pool. Hilton Ocean City Oceanfront Suites on 32nd Street
Located about 5 blocks north of the boardwalk, this oceanfront resort has all 1-bedroom suites. All rooms have a full kitchen, living room with pull-out sleeper sofa, and a private balcony. Dining options include an on-site restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, and a full-service bar that serves light fare from lunch through dinner. They also have in-room dining and a seasonal outdoor pool bar. In addition, the resort has three heated pools: (1) indoor atrium (2) leisure pool with swim-up bar and pool side bar & grill, and (3) a children’s pool with zero depth entry, waterslides, and a lazy river. Located between 2nd and 3rd Streets on the OC Boardwalk, this oceanfront resort has a mix of traditional studio suites and 1-bedroom suites, the latter of which have a full kitchen, dining table, and living room. Dining options include an on-site restaurant that serves lunch and dinner daily during the summer season. The resort has two outdoor pools–a seasonal pool and a heated year-round pool.
